Magazine subscription for gift?

I am really stumped on what to buy the bridal party for their gifts. Does anyone think a magazine subscription would be a bad idea? Something like Maxium for the guys and cosmo or cooking ones for the girls? I would probably add a little something else, just so they had something to actually open. Yes, no?

The choices more mean maybe every guy wants maxim but certainly would prefer any one of them again and unique ideamost people get crap like pair of them did have never used them did have never used them again and am now thinking.
